21 officers honoured for spurning bribes and reporting corruption

Twenty-one officers from the Singapore Police Force, Immigration and Checkpoints Authority, and auxiliary units have been lauded for refusing bribes and reporting corruption to authorities. The recognition highlights the role of frontline personnel in upholding anti-corruption standards within the civil service. The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau noted that 22 of the 68 corruption cases registered for investigation in 2025 involved public service officers who declined illegal inducements and reported the incidents. This represents a significant proportion of cases investigated in the initial phase of the year. The commendation of these officers underscores the importance of individual integrity in preventing corruption within government agencies.
