Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid Appointed Malaysia's Deputy Inspector-General

Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid has been appointed to serve as Malaysia's Deputy Inspector-General of Police (IGP), taking on a role vacated by the departure of Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay earlier this year.

Ayob Khan stepped down from the position in July following his retirement from the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP). The transition marks a significant leadership change within the force's upper echelons during a period when Malaysia's law enforcement continues to navigate evolving security challenges and operational demands.
