ABVP sweeps Delhi University student union elections, wins three major posts

Results of the Delhi University Students' Union elections were announced on Tuesday, with the ABVP-backed candidates winning the president, secretary, and joint secretary positions. Yash Dabas of the ABVP won the presidential race, while Riya Chhabri secured the secretary's post and Lakshay Raj Singh took the joint secretary position. Independent candidate Deepanshu Shaukin claimed the vice-president's seat, marking the sole non-ABVP victory among the four primary positions. The outcome consolidates the student organization's influence within the university's student governance structure, reflecting its growing organizational strength in campus politics. Vote counting proceeded under stringent security measures to ensure transparency and fair conduct throughout the process.
