Accused in child protection case shares first social media post after bail

Rohit Chandel, who was granted bail in a case filed under the POCSO Act, shared his first social media post after his release from custody. The post contained a photograph showing Chandel in what appeared to be a moment of prayer or reflection near the seashore, accompanied by a brief message.

This marks Chandel's first public communication since obtaining bail in the case. Earlier, following his release, he was spotted with his legal representatives and family members, marking his initial appearance outside custody.

The case, registered under India's stringent child protection legislation, has drawn considerable attention. Chandel's bail was granted by the competent judicial authority after his legal team submitted the necessary applications and bail conditions were satisfied.
