Lucknow police continued their interrogation of Shraddha Dubey on Tuesday in connection with the Shiva Sharma murder case, but encountered resistance as the accused woman repeatedly declined to respond to queries, instead asking to speak with her lawyer.
According to police sources, Dubey maintained silence on most questions posed during the questioning at Hazratganj police station. When pressed for answers, she insisted that investigators address their inquiries to her legal representative, effectively halting substantive exchanges during the interrogation session.
During the operation leading to her arrest, police recovered four mobile phones and cash from the accused. However, investigators have been unable to extract clarity on several critical aspects of the case, including details regarding a recent trip to Nepal and the circumstances surrounding who was present at a particular residence.
The investigation into the Sharma murder case remains ongoing as police seek to piece together the sequence of events. Dubey's legal strategy of remaining largely non-responsive has created additional challenges for law enforcement officials attempting to establish a clear timeline and motive for the alleged crime.
The case has drawn significant attention in Lucknow, with police expanding their inquiry while navigating the accused's exercise of legal rights during the custodial interrogation process.
