Yuvika Chaudhary observed Karva Chauth in a striking crimson Anarkali suit, adorned in full bridal regalia for the auspicious occasion. The actress completed her festive look with vermillion in her hair parting, jasmine flowers woven through her locks, a mangalsutra, and diamond rings.
Following the traditional custom of the festival, Chaudhary waited for moonrise before viewing it through a sieve, a customary practice among women observing the day-long fast. Rather than breaking her fast with her husband in person, she marked the moment by viewing a photograph of her spouse, actor Prince Narula, on her mobile phone.
Karva Chauth, celebrated primarily in North India, is observed by married women who fast from sunrise to moonrise with prayers for the wellbeing and longevity of their husbands. The festival, which falls on the fourth day after the full moon in the Hindu month of Kartik, remains one of the most significant occasions in the matrimonial calendar.
