The Adani Group is progressing with an expansive portfolio of projects in Maharashtra, with work already underway on ventures worth ₹2.6 lakh crore out of its total investment pledge exceeding ₹6 lakh crore across multiple sectors. Pranav Adani, Director of Adani Enterprises, disclosed the scale of the group's operations in the state while speaking at the inauguration of "Invest Maharashtra," the state government's newly established investment promotion body.
The group's investment strategy spans critical infrastructure and emerging sectors including power generation, aviation and aeronautical clusters, urban regeneration projects, data centre facilities and coal gasification technology. The investment blueprint was formulated through commitments made at the World Economic Forum in Davos and developed in partnership with the Maharashtra government, according to Adani.
Maharashtra has been positioning itself as a major investment destination, with the new Invest Maharashtra body designed to facilitate business expansion and attract large-scale capital projects. The Adani Group's substantial commitment underscores the state's appeal to major industrial conglomerates seeking to establish or expand operations across high-growth sectors in India.
