Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL) reported consolidated net profit of ₹53.05 crore for the second quarter of FY27, more than doubling from ₹23.44 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to a regulatory filing on Saturday.
Revenue from operations climbed to ₹2,265.61 crore in Q2 FY27, up from ₹2,037.90 crore in the year-ago period, reflecting stronger demand across the company's retail portfolio. Total income, including other income, expanded 11.48 per cent to ₹2,295.42 crore during the quarter.
Total expenses rose 9.71 per cent to ₹2,224.99 crore, indicating improved operational leverage as revenue growth outpaced cost increases. ABFRL operates Pantaloons and Style Up alongside a portfolio of ethnic wear brands catering to diverse consumer segments.
The performance comes following the Aditya Birla Group's restructuring of its fashion businesses in May 2025. The group demerged its Madura business into a separately listed entity, Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited (ABLBL), which now houses premium labels including Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, and Peter England, along with sportswear and youth-focused brands.
