Afghanistan joins rotating presidency of Asian Cricket Council

The Asian Cricket Council has formally added Afghanistan to its presidency rotation, establishing a framework for the nation to hold leadership positions within the continental governing body on a recurring basis.

This decision underscores Afghanistan's strengthened position within Asian cricket administration following years of development in the sport. The country has made substantial progress in establishing competitive domestic and international cricket programmes, culminating in recognition at the ACC's highest governance levels.
