AFP spent P30K-P60K per youth summit, court hears

MANILA – Col. Manaros Boransing II told the impeachment court on Day 20 of proceedings that the Philippine Army spent approximately P30,000 to P60,000 for each of the eight Youth Leadership Summits held under the Vice President's administration.
Senator-Judge Bam Aquino posed questions to the AFP witness regarding the expenditures, which are part of the broader inquiry into how government funds were utilized during Duterte's tenure as education secretary.
The testimony centers on the accountability of public funds allocated to the youth-focused initiatives. The court is examining the nature and necessity of these summits as evidence gathering continues in the high-profile impeachment case.
