Air quality continues improving across Malaysia as haze dissipates

Air quality conditions across Malaysia have continued their upward trajectory, with three areas in East Malaysia now enjoying good air quality standards, according to latest monitoring data. The improvement reflects the ongoing dispersal of haze that has affected the region in recent weeks.

Three East Malaysian locations have achieved good air quality classifications, marking a significant step forward in regional air conditions. Simultaneously, other parts of the country have stabilized at moderate air quality levels, representing a continued positive trend from previously elevated readings.

No unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) readings have been recorded across Malaysia, indicating that air quality has remained within acceptable ranges. The absence of hazardous levels suggests that atmospheric conditions are improving as weather patterns favour the dispersal of particulate matter that had previously accumulated in the region.

Environmental authorities continue to monitor air quality across the country. The improving conditions reflect a combination of meteorological factors and the gradual clearing of atmospheric pollutants that had contributed to earlier haze episodes affecting Malaysia and neighbouring countries.
