Air quality improves across Malaysia as unhealthy readings disappear

Air quality across Malaysia has shown marked improvement, with all monitoring stations recording either moderate or healthy pollution levels as of the latest assessment.

According to the latest data from air quality monitoring networks, 49 stations nationwide recorded moderate Air Pollutant Index (API) readings, while 19 stations registered healthy readings. Notably, no stations were classified as unhealthy or hazardous during the reporting period.

The absence of unhealthy readings represents a positive shift in air quality conditions across the country. The distribution of moderate and healthy readings suggests that atmospheric conditions have improved, allowing for better air circulation and lower pollutant concentrations in most regions.

The improvement comes as welcome news for residents and businesses across the nation, particularly in areas that have previously experienced air quality challenges. Continued monitoring of air quality remains important as seasonal factors and regional weather patterns can influence pollution levels.
