AirBorneo launches thrice-weekly Kuching-Jakarta service from November

KUCHING — AirBorneo has opened reservations for a new direct air service between Kuching and Jakarta, marking an expansion of connectivity between Sarawak and Indonesia's capital.

The carrier will operate the route with three flights weekly beginning November 13, offering Malaysian travelers and business professionals improved access to Indonesia's economic hub. The new service addresses growing demand for direct connections between the two cities.

Ticket sales commenced on October 31, with the airline accepting bookings through its online platform and ticketing partners. The frequency and scheduling remain subject to operational and regulatory requirements.

The launch underscores AirBorneo's strategy of expanding regional routes from its Sarawak base. The addition of the Kuching-Jakarta service follows the airline's previous network expansions across Borneo and neighboring regions.
