All accused arrested in Jamui harassment case; main suspect remanded

Nandan Yadav, the principal accused in a sexual harassment case filed in Jamui, has been sent to judicial custody following his court appearance on Tuesday. The remand order comes days after Yadav's arrest, which marked the completion of the police investigation into allegations involving a minor.

Yadav sustained injuries during a police encounter on September 22 before his subsequent arrest. Despite the circumstances of his apprehension, law enforcement proceeded with formal charges, and the district court determined that judicial custody was warranted pending trial proceedings.

With Yadav's remand, all named accused persons in the case are now in custody. The police investigation had identified multiple suspects in connection with the harassment allegations, and coordinated arrests have resulted in the detention of every individual named in the First Information Report.
