Alleged organised crime figure 'Konda Ranji' held for extended questioning
Organised crime suspect Dissanayake Mudiyanselage Ranjith Kumara, known as 'Konda Ranji', has been ordered detained for further police questioning as investigations continue into his alleged criminal activities.

The Western Province North Crime Division has informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court that the suspect, known by the alias 'Konda Ranji', is being held for extended questioning. According to police submissions to the court, the suspect is a resident of No. 546, Veedi Mawatha, Kandana. Police have obtained a detention order to facilitate the continued interrogation as their investigation progresses. The suspect is alleged to be involved in organised criminal activities. The case remains before the Chief Magistrate's Court as authorities pursue their inquiries.
