Alleged Pardhi gang member arrested in Hyderabad burglary spree

Authorities in Shankarpally, part of the Hyderabad metropolitan area, have apprehended a man believed to be part of the Pardhi organized crime network on suspicion of orchestrating multiple residential break-ins. The arrest came following investigations into a string of burglaries that have plagued the locality in recent months.

The Pardhi community, traditionally associated with criminal networks across parts of South India, has long been a focus of law enforcement operations. Members of these groups are frequently accused of operating coordinated theft rings targeting homes and businesses across states including Telangana, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.

Police sources indicate the arrested individual is suspected of playing a key role in at least 11 burglary cases registered in the Shankarkarpally jurisdiction.
