Alliance Air flight 9I 698, an ATR 72-600 twin-engine turboprop aircraft, touched down at Indira Gandhi International Airport around 2:15 pm following the reported engine failure, according to flight tracking data.

The aircraft was en route from Prayagraj when the crew reported the loss of power in one of its two engines, prompting the pilots to divert to Delhi for an immediate landing. The ATR 72-600 is a short-haul regional aircraft commonly used for domestic operations across Indian airways.

Flightradar24.com tracking data confirmed the landing time at the national capital's airport. The aircraft carried approximately 40 people, comprising passengers and crew members.
