Amanah dismisses PAS claims of victimhood over PN suspension

Amanah's Secretary-General Faiz Fadzil has dismissed suggestions that the Pakatan Harapan coalition manipulated authorities to suspend Perikatan Nasional, rejecting what he characterised as attempts to portray the opposition as victims of political persecution.
Faiz's statement comes as tensions simmer within the political landscape following regulatory action against PN, with the coalition appearing to position itself as unfairly targeted by government mechanisms.
The Amanah leader's remarks underscore divisions within Malaysia's opposition bloc, where PAS—a key PN component—has sought to frame enforcement actions as politically motivated. However, Faiz stressed that Pakatan Harapan had not intervened in the authorities' decisions regarding PN.
