Amrutanjan Health Care is aggressively expanding its retail footprint, aiming to establish 100,000 direct chemist outlets by the end of fiscal year 2026-27. The healthcare company, which manufactures pain management and women's hygiene products, has identified retail expansion as a key growth lever following strong market performance in these categories during FY26.
Chairman and Managing Director S Sambhu Prasad outlined the expansion roadmap in the company's annual report, emphasizing the goal to increase distribution touchpoints significantly. "Our stated goal of achieving 1,00,000 direct chemist outlets will be achieved in FY27, and we wish to further increase overall reach and availability of our brands beyond our traditional strong markets," Prasad said.
The company demonstrated considerable progress in its distribution strategy during the previous fiscal year, adding 44,000 new chemist outlets. This expansion reflects Amrutanjan's strategy to deepen market penetration in established regions while simultaneously entering new geographical territories where it has yet to establish significant presence.
Amrutanjan's product portfolio, particularly its flagship pain management brand and Comfy women's hygiene range, drove revenue growth in FY26. The company believes scaling its direct retail network will improve product availability and consumer accessibility, supporting continued expansion in both existing and emerging markets across India.
