AMUDA's jurisdiction expands to 1,765 sq km in Andhra Pradesh

The Amaravati Metropolitan Urban Development Authority (AMUDA) has extended its jurisdictional limits across 1,765 square kilometres in Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh, marking a substantial increase in the agency's administrative scope. The expansion incorporates Ramachandrapuram municipality along with five additional mandals into AMUDA's purview, broadening the authority's capacity to coordinate metropolitan development initiatives across the region.

This jurisdictional expansion reflects the state government's strategy to strengthen urban governance and infrastructure planning in the Konaseema area.
