Andhra CM Naidu presents silk vestments to Tirumala temple during Brahmotsavams

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday presented a pair of ornate silk vestments to the temple authorities at Sri Venkateswara Temple during the ongoing Brahmotsavams festival. The Chief Minister carried the traditional 'vastrams' on his head and made the customary offering on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State government.

The presentation of silk vestments is a significant ritual during the Brahmotsavams celebrations, one of the most important religious festivals at the Tirumala temple. The festival sees elaborate processions and religious ceremonies that attract devotees from across India and abroad.

The offering by the state government underscores the ceremonial significance accorded to the Tirumala temple, which is one of the most visited religious sites in the country. The Brahmotsavams festival is celebrated annually for ten days with various religious rituals and cultural programmes.
