Andhra Governor to grace NTRUHS ruby jubilee celebrations

The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has extended an invitation to Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer to be the chief guest at its ruby jubilee celebrations marking four decades of operations. Vice-Chancellor P. Chandrasekhar and senior university officials met with the Governor to apprise him of the institution's historical trajectory and contributions to health sciences education in the region.

During the meeting, university representatives highlighted NTRUHS's role in shaping medical professionals and advancing healthcare education since its establishment. The Governor, impressed by the university's journey and institutional achievements, confirmed his participation in the October 26 celebrations.

The ruby jubilee marks a significant milestone for the institution, which has established itself as a premier medical university in South India. The celebration is expected to draw participation from medical professionals, academics, and students associated with the university's various academic programmes across multiple campuses in Andhra Pradesh.

NTRUHS operates several affiliated colleges and institutions across the state, offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health sciences. The university has contributed substantially to producing healthcare professionals and conducting medical research relevant to regional public health priorities.
