Andhra Minister Hits Back at YSRCP Over 'Misinformation' Claims

A government minister has launched a sharp counterattack against the opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), accusing it of spreading misinformation about the state administration's performance. Janardhan Reddy stated that the YSRCP lacks the standing to question the alliance government's governance record, pointing to the party's dramatic electoral decline as evidence of public rejection.

Reddy emphasized that the ruling coalition has already implemented over 90 percent of its development and welfare commitments made during the election campaign. The minister's remarks come as the YSRCP, which previously held 151 assembly seats, now occupies just 11 seats following the last electoral cycle—a development Reddy cited as reflection of voter sentiment.
