Andhra Pradesh BJP MLA rules out alliance collapse with TDP-Jana Sena

BJP MLA Adinarayana Reddy has firmly rejected suggestions that the alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party, Telugu Desam Party (TDP), and Jana Sena could fracture, characterizing the coalition as resilient and committed to working through difficulties.

Speaking in response to opposition maneuvers, Reddy dismissed hopes by the YSR Congress Party that internal contradictions might destabilize the ruling combine. The YSRCP, which lost power in the 2024 state elections, has been attempting to capitalize on any perceived discord within the new government.

Reddy acknowledged that the alliance faces organisational shortcomings but stressed that these challenges would be identified and remedied through collective effort. He expressed confidence that such corrective measures would result in the coalition emerging with greater cohesion and effectiveness.

The BJP MLA's statement underscores the alliance partners' determination to present a unified front as they consolidate governance in Andhra Pradesh. The three parties formed the coalition following electoral negotiations, with the TDP securing the chief minister's position and significant portfolio allocations across the cabinet.
