Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced the financial assistance as an immediate relief measure for the bereaved families. The ₹10 lakh ex gratia per family is aimed at providing support during the period of acute distress following the tragic incident.

The collision highlighted safety concerns on state roads, where accidents involving commercial vehicles and smaller transport modes continue to pose significant risks to commuters. Authorities have not yet disclosed details about the circumstances that led to the collision or any action taken against the bus operator.
