Andhra Pradesh Minister Relaunches Stalled Indoor Stadium Project in Banaganapalle

The indoor stadium project, which had stalled, is now back on track after the minister's intervention. Officials have been issued strict directives to meet the four-month deadline for project completion.

During the relaunching ceremony, Minister Reddy highlighted his personal commitment to development initiatives in the region. He noted that he had invested ₹1.48 crore of his own funds toward constructing a community hall, or shaadikhana, in the area. The government had separately sanctioned ₹1 crore for the same facility.

The dual investment underscores efforts to improve public infrastructure in the backward region. The indoor stadium is expected to serve as a major sports and community facility once completed.

With the restart of construction work, the project is now expected to be operational by early 2024, pending timely execution by the contractors and administrative support. Local officials have been directed to monitor progress and resolve any bottlenecks that may impede the timeline.
