Andhra Pradesh to conduct AISHE workshop for university officials

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will organize a state-level workshop dedicated to the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) on October 26 in Vijayawada. The event is designed to facilitate training and capacity-building for nodal officers from universities across the state who are responsible for implementing and coordinating AISHE data collection and submission processes.

The workshop aims to standardize understanding of AISHE protocols and requirements among university representatives, ensuring consistent and accurate data reporting from higher education institutions in Andhra Pradesh. AISHE is a national initiative that collects comprehensive data on various aspects of higher education, including infrastructure, faculty, student enrollment, and academic programs.

Nodal officers play a crucial role in bridging communication between individual universities and the national AISHE framework, making their training essential for smooth data collection cycles. The Vijayawada workshop is expected to address implementation challenges, clarify procedural guidelines, and provide hands-on training to enhance the quality and timeliness of data submissions from the state's higher education sector.

Participation in such workshops helps universities maintain compliance with national higher education statistics standards while enabling APSCHE to monitor and support institutional performance across the state.
