The Andhra Pradesh government has announced plans to conduct a special Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for in-service teachers employed in government-managed schools across the state. The examination will commence on October 11, with results expected to be declared on November 15.
The special TET initiative is designed to assess the professional competency of existing teaching staff working within the state's various government school management structures. In-service teachers from all recognized government institutions are eligible to participate in the examination.
The test represents an effort by the state education department to evaluate and certify the qualifications of its current teaching workforce against established pedagogical and subject-matter standards. Serving teachers who qualify through the examination will have their eligibility formally recognized.
Candidates are advised to monitor official announcements from the Andhra Pradesh School Education Department for detailed information regarding registration procedures, examination centers, and other administrative guidelines related to the special TET drive.
