Andhra Pradesh to fill 10,060 government jobs across four phases

Andhra Pradesh has mapped out an ambitious employment drive, with Principal Finance Secretary Peeyush Kumar announcing plans to fill 10,060 government vacancies through a four-phase recruitment process beginning this month.

According to the job calendar released Saturday, the recruitment process will commence with 3,231 positions being notified on September 15 under the second phase. An additional 2,311 vacancies will be advertised on October 15 for the third phase, followed by 2,995 positions in the fourth phase. These notifications will supplement 1,523 positions already released by the Higher Education Department in May, bringing the total to 10,060 jobs.

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), the State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB), and District Selection Committees (DSC) have been authorized to conduct the recruitment across various government departments. "Government, hereby accords permission to the concerned Recruiting Agencies to fill up 10,060 vacancies in various Departments through Direct Recruitment," Kumar stated in an official Government Order.

The phased approach is expected to ensure systematic filling of vacancies across multiple administrative and functional domains. The recruitment calendar marks a significant employment opportunity for job seekers across the state.
