Andhra Pradesh to host five regional MSME conferences from October

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced plans to hold five regional MSME conferences starting October 7 across the state, setting the stage for enhanced engagement with small and medium enterprises ahead of the Confederation of Indian Industry Partnership Summit.

According to MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas, the series of conferences is designed to unlock new opportunities for key stakeholder groups, particularly youth seeking to enter entrepreneurship, women entrepreneurs, and existing small-scale industries looking to scale operations.

The regional format of the conferences is intended to ensure broader participation from MSME operators across Andhra Pradesh, allowing grassroots entrepreneurs to engage directly with policymakers and industry leaders without requiring travel to a central venue.

The initiative comes as the state aims to strengthen its MSME ecosystem and position itself as a destination for inclusive business growth. Officials indicated that the conferences would facilitate networking, skill-sharing, and policy discussions relevant to small and medium enterprises operating in the region.

The five conferences precede the larger CII Partnership Summit, where the state is expected to showcase its business environment and attract investment commitments from national and international enterprises.
