Andhra Pradesh to host three regional conferences before CII summit

Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for a series of three regional conferences designed to build momentum ahead of the Confederation of Indian Industry's Partnership Summit scheduled to take place in the state. The conferences are expected to attract investors and stakeholders from across the country, with government officials looking to leverage the regional forums to showcase investment opportunities in key sectors.

The government has already lined up 115 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) involving proposed investments valued at ₹79,628.04 crore, according to officials. These agreements are anticipated to span multiple sectors critical to the state's economic development and industrial growth strategy.

Beyond the financial commitments, the MoUs are projected to generate employment opportunities for approximately 1,88,038 persons across various industries and skill levels. This employment generation component underscores the state's focus on leveraging investment inflows for broader economic and social development.

The three regional conferences will serve as preparatory platforms for discussions on infrastructure, policy frameworks, and sector-specific opportunities. Officials said the forums would provide investors and industry representatives a comprehensive overview of Andhra Pradesh's competitive advantages and growth potential ahead of the larger CII gathering.
