Andhra Pradesh to install CCTV cameras at schools, colleges for safety

The Andhra Pradesh government will install CCTV cameras at schools and colleges across the state as part of a broader safety initiative, according to Home Minister Anitha. The decision reflects growing concerns over student security on educational campuses and the need to deter criminal behaviour in and around institutions.

The surveillance system is primarily designed to address eve-teasing and other anti-social activities that have been reported near educational facilities.
