Animal Volunteers Singapore launches first CBD pet adoption drive
The Animal Volunteers Singapore (AVS) will host its inaugural pet adoption event in Singapore's central business district at Guoco Tower Urban Park in Tanjong Pagar from August 27 to 29.

The three-day initiative marks the first time AVS has brought its adoption programme to the heart of the business district, bringing together prospective pet owners and animals in need of homes in a high-traffic urban location. The event will operate daily from 11am to 8pm, providing extended hours to accommodate working professionals and residents in the area.
Guoco Tower Urban Park's central location in Tanjong Pagar offers convenient access for members of the public to visit and interact with available animals. The venue's park setting provides a comfortable environment for both pets and visitors during the adoption drive.
The initiative reflects growing efforts to increase pet adoption awareness and accessibility across different parts of Singapore. By situating the drive in the CBD, AVS aims to reach a broader demographic and encourage more residents to consider adoption as they pass through one of the city's busiest commercial zones.
Prospective adopters are invited to visit the event to meet available animals and learn more about the adoption process. Further details regarding specific animals available and adoption requirements are expected to be shared closer to the event date.
