Anonymous Punjab Donor Gifts Gold, Silver to Ancient Himachal Temple

The Sri Chamunda Nandakeshwar Dham in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, is being revitalized through a major restoration project that draws on the generosity of devotees across the region. The ancient shrine, believed to date back approximately four centuries, holds significant religious importance for Hindu worshippers across northern India.

In a remarkable display of devotion, an unidentified philanthropist from Punjab has committed substantial precious metals to enhance the temple's sanctum sanctorum. The donor has pledged 3 kilograms of gold, which will be used in the construction and embellishment of the goddess's ceremonial throne. An additional 600 kilograms of silver has been earmarked for decorative work within the inner sanctum of the temple.

The renovation initiative reflects the ongoing efforts to preserve and upgrade historic religious structures across Himachal Pradesh. Temple authorities have not disclosed the identity of the donor, who has chosen to remain anonymous while contributing significantly to the shrine's restoration.
