Most recently, Jain served as chief secretary of Madhya Pradesh, where he played a key role in framing an extensive suite of investment policies tailored to specific economic sectors. His work encompassed nearly 30 policy frameworks designed to enhance the state's business environment and attract investment in trade and industrial sectors.
As NITI Aayog CEO, Jain will be responsible for steering the institution's policy research, strategy development, and advisory functions as India navigates complex economic challenges and pursues sustainable development goals.
