SERDANG — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stressed the importance of reflecting the Prophet's teachings and character beyond ceremonial occasions, calling for a deeper spiritual engagement among the Muslim community.
Addressing gatherings in Serdang on Sunday, Anwar emphasised that the celebration of Maulidur Rasul, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad, should serve as a catalyst for sustained moral and ethical conduct rather than a singular festive event.
The Premier highlighted that true commemoration of the Prophet's legacy requires Muslims to embody his values of compassion, justice, and integrity in their daily lives and interactions. He urged the community to use the occasion as a reminder for continuous self-reflection and spiritual renewal.
