Anwar deflects Rohingya blame to predecessors as diplomatic efforts continue

"I am the one being blamed, even though others brought them here," Anwar said, referencing the influx of Rohingya refugees during previous administrations. The Prime Minister pointed specifically to former Prime Minister Najib Razak and PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang in connection with the issue.

Anwar reiterated that the government is pursuing diplomatic solutions to address the Rohingya situation rather than unilateral measures. He emphasized that resolving the humanitarian crisis requires coordinated international efforts and engagement with relevant parties.
