The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released the examination schedule for the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) aimed at serving state government employees seeking to enhance their technical competencies.
The examination will be held across five locations in the state during the scheduled dates. Testing centres have been established in Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Tirupati, and Anantapur districts, with examinations on October 30 and 31. An additional centre will operate at the NTR district venue on November 1, providing candidates with multiple opportunities to complete the assessment.
The Computer Proficiency Test is designed to evaluate the technical skills of in-service employees in areas such as basic computer operations, office automation, and digital literacy. The examination is part of the state's initiative to upgrade the competency levels of its workforce in an increasingly digital governance environment.
Employees seeking to appear for the test are advised to check the official APPSC website for detailed instructions, syllabus information, and candidate registration guidelines. The commission has emphasized the importance of reporting to examination centres well ahead of the scheduled start times to ensure smooth conduct of the assessment.
Interested candidates are urged to register for their preferred examination centre at the earliest to secure their slots, as availability may be subject to capacity constraints at individual venues.
