Aretto targets Rs 100 crore revenue as adjustable kids' shoe brand expands

Aretto, a children's footwear brand built around adjustable shoe technology, is charting an aggressive expansion strategy to achieve Rs 100 crore in annual revenue by FY27. The startup, supported by investors Peak XV Surge and Veltis Capital, plans to significantly expand its retail footprint and explore international markets to drive growth.

The brand's core offering addresses a persistent consumer pain point: children's shoes typically become unwearable within months as feet grow, creating recurring purchase cycles for parents. Aretto's patented technology allows shoes to adjust as children's feet expand, extending product lifecycle and reducing wastage.

The expansion roadmap includes scaling from current retail touchpoints to over 100 locations across regions. This retail proliferation will be complemented by international market entry, positioning the brand for cross-border growth beyond India's domestic consumer base.

Beyond children's footwear, Aretto is exploring application of its adjustable technology to adult shoe segments, potentially unlocking new revenue streams and market opportunities. The diversification into adult categories represents a significant scaling opportunity for the technology platform.

The brand's trajectory reflects growing investor confidence in specialized consumer categories addressing practical household challenges, particularly in children's products where durability and value economics resonate strongly with Indian families.
