CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — The Army's 4th Infantry Division (4ID) coordinated closely with the 1st Infantry Division (1ID) on Wednesday to prepare contingency measures in response to security concerns arising from the military's decision to prevent a Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) convoy from proceeding into Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte.
Joint police and military personnel intercepted the MILF convoy, which comprised approximately 200 individuals, prompting both divisions to establish heightened readiness protocols. Military officials stated that the coordination between 4ID and 1ID was undertaken as a precautionary measure to address any potential security developments that might emerge from the incident.
