CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — The Army's 4th Infantry Division has activated 110 Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit Active Auxiliaries following completion of their basic military training, officials said Tuesday.

The newly trained community scouts will be deployed across Northern Mindanao and the Caraga region to enhance security operations and serve as force multipliers for regular Army units already stationed in the areas.

CAFGU Active Auxiliaries are drawn from local communities and trained to support military operations at the grassroots level. Their deployment is intended to improve situational awareness and security response capabilities across the two regions.

The 4th Infantry Division oversees military operations in Mindanao and regularly conducts training programs to strengthen its personnel and community-based security forces.
