Army's 4th Infantry Division opens renovated museum in Cagayan de Oro

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — The Army's 4th Infantry Division (4ID) unveiled its newly renovated museum facility at Camp Evangelista here on Monday, September 7, establishing a dedicated space to chronicle the division's historical legacy. The transformation of Borromeo Hall into the official 4ID Museum represents a significant effort to preserve and showcase the unit's contributions to the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The upgraded museum features enhanced amenities aimed at improving public engagement with the division's institutional history. The facility now includes an audio-visual room equipped for multimedia presentations and a mini library housing archival materials and reference documents related to the 4ID's operations and heritage.

The 4ID, a major Army formation based in Mindanao, has played a prominent role in regional security operations and disaster response efforts. The museum serves as both a public education resource and an institutional repository for the division's records and historical artifacts.
