Arsenal draws level with Manchester City atop Premier League standings

Arsenal's victory moved them level on points with Manchester City at the summit of the Premier League, as the defending champions suffered their first loss of the campaign. The Gunners seized the opportunity to close the gap at the top of the table with a decisive performance.

In a separate standout result, Tottenham Hotspur produced an impressive display to defeat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge. The away win marked only the second league triumph Spurs have managed at the London venue in more than three decades, underlining the difficulty of securing victories at Chelsea's home ground.

The midweek fixtures have shuffled the Premier League's upper echelon, with the title race remaining tightly contested. Arsenal's return to the summit alongside City sets up a compelling final stretch of the season, while Tottenham's resurgence at one of England's most challenging away grounds suggests momentum may be building at the Lilywhite club.

The results continue a pattern of unpredictability in the Premier League this season, with defending champions City vulnerable and traditional powerhouses beginning to show signs of form.
