Artillery shell recovered from fishing nets off Kerala harbour

An artillery shell was recovered from a fishing net off Puthiyappa harbour, authorities said. The discovery was reported to local law enforcement, triggering a response from the bomb squad and Elathur Coastal Police.

Specialist teams arrived at the harbour and conducted an initial examination of the object to determine its nature and potential hazard level. Following the assessment, the shell was deemed a safety concern requiring secure containment.
