Artist transforms modest cabin into sprawling multi-level creative sanctuary

What began as a humble residential structure in 1989 has evolved into an unconventional 11-level home and working studio under the vision of artist Ricky Boscarino. The transformation of Luna Parc, located in New Jersey, represents a decades-long artistic endeavour that blurs the boundaries between living space, gallery and educational facility.

The expanded property showcases Boscarino's distinctive approach to spatial design, featuring multiple artistic installations, curated collections and deliberately unconventional rooms that challenge conventional notions of domestic architecture. Rather than follow traditional renovation blueprints, the artist has layered creative interventions throughout the structure, transforming it into what essentially functions as a three-dimensional artwork.

Beyond its role as a personal creative residence, Luna Parc has become an important community resource. The space operates as a teaching facility where young local artists receive instruction in both technical craft skills and the business fundamentals necessary for sustaining an artistic practice.
