Assam marks first death anniversary of musician Zubeen Garg

Assam is observing the first death anniversary of Zubeen Garg, the renowned musician and cultural icon, through a coordinated programme of commemorative activities across the state. To facilitate public participation in the memorial observances, cab operators in the region have stepped in with special arrangements, offering reduced-fare rides to and from Garg's memorial site located approximately 23 kilometres east of Guwahati.
