Ateneo de Zamboanga pledges full cooperation after school shooting incident

Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) on Wednesday announced its commitment to assist authorities and families impacted by a shooting incident at the institution. University President Fr. Anthony "Ernald" Andal, SJ, stated that the school is actively cooperating with investigators and has provided security footage to support the investigation.
Andal disclosed that he has met with officials from the Department of Education to coordinate response efforts. The university indicated its willingness to work alongside law enforcement and other relevant agencies as the investigation proceeds.
The institution stressed its dedication to supporting those directly affected by the incident while ensuring campus safety moving forward. AdZU did not provide additional details about the shooting at the time of the announcement.
