Ather Eyes Dealership Push as New Plant Ramps Up Production

Ather Energy is preparing to resume aggressive dealership expansion in the final quarter of the year, backed by over 100 letters of intent from prospective retail partners, according to the company's chief business officer.

The expansion drive coincides with the ramping up of production at Ather's new manufacturing plant in Maharashtra, which is expected to substantially increase the company's monthly output. The facility is slated to bring total production capacity to approximately 77,000 scooters per month once fully operational.

The dealership push represents a strategic effort by the electric vehicle manufacturer to widen its market reach across India at a time when consumer interest in electric two-wheelers is accelerating. The company has secured significant retailer interest, positioning itself to capitalize on growing demand in the segment.

Ather's expansion plans signal confidence in the e-scooter market's trajectory and the company's ability to meet demand as production capacity increases.
