Australia opts to bowl first in second test against South Africa

Australia's captain won the toss and decided to bowl first against South Africa in the second test of their series at St George's Park on Sunday. The decision reflected typical conditions at the Eastern Cape venue, where bowling first has historically offered strategic advantages. However, the start of the match was postponed due to rainfall that affected the ground conditions. Both teams were forced to wait for the weather to clear before play could commence. The delay meant the toss decision would face its first real test once conditions permitted action on the field.
