Ayodhya's Ram Lalla shrine has expanded its VIP darshan capacity to ease visitor congestion at the newly consecrated temple. The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust raised the daily quota of VIP passes from 1,800 to 3,500, representing a significant increase in access for pilgrims seeking expedited viewing of the deity.
The decision reflects efforts by temple authorities to manage the overwhelming flow of devotees following the temple's inauguration earlier this year. By increasing VIP pass allocations, the trust aims to reduce waiting times and provide a more organized experience for visitors.
The enhanced pass distribution system became operational from Saturday, marking a shift in the temple's crowd management strategy. VIP passes typically allow devotees to bypass regular queues, providing quicker access to the sanctum sanctorum during specified time slots.
The Ram Lalla temple has emerged as one of India's most visited pilgrimage sites since its consecration, drawing devotees from across the country. The trust continues to fine-tune operational protocols to balance accessibility with the preservation of the sacred experience for all visitors.
